Launch of COTEC’s CPD Award: Celebrating Professional Development across European Occupational Therapists.
COTEC’s first round of applications for the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Award was launched in February. Designed to recognise professionalism and the commitment to lifelong learning, the award encourages Occupational Therapy practitioners to showcase how ongoing education enhances professional practice and benefits the Occupational Therapy service provided.
With the submission deadline for the spring Award already passed on the 15th of March, we are now gathering the final supporting documents from referees and preparing to begin the assessment of applications. Our review panel will evaluate each submission based on professional impact, innovation, and demonstrable outcomes in practice. Successful applicants will be announced later this spring.
This initiative highlights the dedication of Occupational Therapists to continuous learning and fosters a culture of uni- and interprofessional knowledge sharing. COTEC’s CPD Award is a great opportunity to make Occupational Therapy visible, valued, accessible, and available for all European citizens.
