Harnessing Talent Platform – New Publication Alert

COTEC is an active member of the Harnessing Talent Platform (HTP), particularly contributing to the Health Working Group with its focus on up- and re-skilling the workforce, increasing retention rates, and providing solutions for an ageing population.

As some of you might have answered the questionnaire that stemmed from this working group, we are pleased to share the results with you. The Briefing Paper is based on the results a survey specifically designed to further understand the need for a revision of service models and to analyse the challenging working conditions, which are a prime contributor to sectorial talent emigration.

But that is not all: As the working groups continue with their work and commitment for another year, COTEC is actively engaging in the final outputs:

  1. A comprehensive recommendation paper identifying recommendations linked to improving service models and working conditions, overcoming challenges linked to ageing population and up- and reskilling opportunities in the health sector to attract and retain talent,
  2. A interdisciplinary and interprofessional recommendation paper centering on access to essential services and quality of life in collaboration with other Working Groups,
  3. A Volume 2 of a Good Practices Catalogue that will allow the consolidation of case examples that are relevant to up- and reskilling the health workforce, attract and retain talent, and challenges linked to an ageing population.
