The 37th WFOT meeting and the first called General Assembly was held in Bangkok, Thailand, February 5-7, 2026. COTEC, as the European Regional Member in WFOT, was invited to attend and was represented by COTEC President Anu Söderström.

This was the last meeting chaired by Samantha Shann, as Tecla Mlambo will continue as WFOT President. COTEC would like to thank Samantha for her many years on the WFOT Executive Mangament Team / Board of Directors. We thank her for her constructive and fruitful collaboration in strengthening the position of Occupational Therapy both in Europe and globally. We wish Samantha all the best in the future and look forward to continue working with Tecla.
