Call for Abstract reviewers

The abstract submission for COTEC-ENOTHE 2020 Congress closes September 30th, 2019 and abstract reviewers are needed. Reviewing abstracts is a crucial part of preparing the Scientific Program of the conference, and your contribution would be much appreciated. As an abstract reviewer you will have the chance to ensure the scientific quality of content to be presented at the COTEC-ENOTHE 2020 Congress which will be held in Prague September 23-26, 2020.
Each abstract will be reviewed by two reviewers and each reviewer will have no more than 15 abstracts to review and score. Reviewers will evaluate the abstracts using a simple scoring system, for any of the oral presentations and poster presentations. ExOrdo will be the abstract handling tool used.

The AAATE 2019 Conference

The AAATE 2019 Conference in Bologna is approaching fast and most of the programme elements are already online (http://aaate2019.eu/wp-content/uploads/sites/24/2019/07/Draft_Programme-Overview_AAATE2019_V4_for-publication.pdf).

Members of COTEC benefit from the reduced AAATE member fee, which is 520€ for the full 3-day participation and 290€ for a 1-day pass.

Overall, the scientific committee has selected more than 200 scientific contributions in virtually all areas of Assistive Technology, including also 7 policy sessions, and 14 companies and research labs will showcase their products and prototypes in the innovation area. With already more than 270 registered participants from 43 different countries around the globe, the AAATE conference is rapidly on its way to be THE GLOBAL #AT CONFERENCE of 2019.

Inga-Britt Lindström Grant Award 2019

The Swedish Association of Occupational Therapists has established a grant award in the name of Inga-Britt Lindström, who has been the president of the organization in 1970-2008. We invite applications from foreign occupational therapists and occupational therapy students. The grant is offered to individuals or teams from countries where occupational therapy is under development and countries listed as low- or lower-middle-income economics, according to the World Bank List.

The maximum amount of the grant is 10 000 Swedish Kronor (about USD 980) per year.
